Version 7.0 of Libris Design has been engineered to be compatible with Access 2007. Users can import work from prior versions of Access directly into Libris 7.0 for full compatibility with MS Office 2007. The newest version of Libris will allow you to use the same database on all versions of Access from 2000 to 2007. As with previous versions of Libris Design, you will need to disable the macro security blocker. To accomplish this, follow these instructions:

Open the Access 2007 program (not Libris Design)

Click on the Office 2007 symbol in the upper left hand corner of the tool bar

Select Access Options from the bottom left hand side of the pop up box

Select the Trust Center from the left hand bar, and then click on TRUST CENTER SETTINGS

Choose Enable all Macros

Click OK

When you first open Libris 7.0, the upper tool bar will look different from previous versions of Libris due to changes in the new version of Access. If you click “Add-Ins” the familiar Libris tool bar will appear at the top. There is no change in the functionality of the database. You still have the option to send print jobs directly to a printer or to a snapshot, but it may be necessary to reload the Access snapshot viewer. This viewer is available free from Microsoft (download it here). You also have the option of sending the final report to a PDF file if you have the software available on your computer.Order your copy of Libris Design 7.0 here.
